To meet the health-care needs of the fast growing community of Greater Issaquah/Sammamish, Swedish has opened a new medical center in the Issaquah Highlands. The new campus was developed in two phases. The first phase, a medical-office building and outpatient center, opened in July 2011. Phase two—the hospital—opened in November 2011.
