Tom Hudson guided a unique team of County, Tribal and City leaders in creating an industrial development program that would be implemented by this new partnership.
Among top priorities were a Foreign Trade Subzone, a business incubator focused on value-added agriculture and forest products, an intermodal center and redevelopment of a dilapidated county fairgrounds (with excellent infrastructure and rail service) as an industrial park.
Tom’s team also helped guide future development of the County airport and expanded the team’s alternative energy development program.
He also worked with representatives of the Kootenai Tribe of Idaho to ensure their values and priorities were included in the Plan.
