Last week, our team joined the celebration for the opening of the University of Washington School of Dentistry’s new Oral Health Training Center in Spokane. The expansion adds 32 new simulation labs, doubling the RIDE program’s student capacity and strengthening hands-on dental education across the region.
This milestone represents another key addition to the growing Healthcare Peninsula, a visionary hub of medical education and innovation in Spokane. The Healthcare Peninsula brings together the UW-GU Health Partnership Building and the SIERR Building, home to Eastern Washington University’s School of Nursing and Communication Sciences & Disorders Center. Together, these projects embody the Emerald Initiative’s mission to cultivate a collaborative medical cluster that drives health education, biomedical research, and economic development for the region.
We’re honored to continue supporting the growth of the Healthcare Peninsula and wish to congratulate the project team and UW School of Dentistry on the opening of this expansion.
